- 1 (8-ounce)  block cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon  lemon juice
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 (8-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed (like Cool Whip)
- 1 (16-ounce) container fresh strawberries, washed, hulled, and sliced
- 1/4 cup strawberry jam or jelly, melted and cooled
Prepare the Cream Cheese Filling
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth using a hand mixer or stand mixer. 
- Add the lemon juice and powdered sugar, mixing until fully combined.
