- 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
- 1 (5.1 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 tablespoons amaretto liqueur
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- ¼ teaspoon almond extract
- ½ cup amaretto liqueur
- 1 cup sifted confectioners' sugar
To prepare, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a 10-inch Bundt pan.
Combine cake mix, eggs, instant vanilla pudding, water, oil, almond extract, and 2 tablespoons of amaretto in a large bowl. Blend until smooth, then pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Start by baking in a preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake emerges clean. While the cake is still warm, create holes on the surface and generously drizzle it with Amaretto Glaze, ensuring it seeps into those holes. Allow the cake to cool for a minimum of 2 hours before taking it out of the pan.
For Amaretto Glaze, sift confectioners' sugar and blend with 1/2 cup amaretto until smooth. Adjust amaretto quantity as necessary.
