Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1 (15.25 ounce) package carrot cake mix
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ cup finely chopped walnuts

Instructions

  • Before you start making your cake, you need to make sure you have the right equipment. To start, you'll need to preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Then, you'll need to grease and flour two 8-inch round pans to prevent the cake from sticking.
  • In a large bowl, beat the cake mix, pineapple with juice, eggs, water, oil, and nuts (if desired) with an electric mixer at medium speed until well blended. This should take about 2 minutes.
  • Once the batter is well blended, spread it evenly into the prepared pans. Then, place the pans in the preheated oven and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
