Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 ⅓ cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoons  salt
  • cup vegetable oil
  • cup melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 pic  eggs, beaten
  • 2 ½ cup whole milk

Instructions
 

  • To begin, heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius) and take a moment to grease a baking dish measuring 9x13 inches.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Next, add the vegetable oil, melted butter, honey, beaten eggs, and milk to the bowl and stir the ingredients until just moistened.
  • Transfer the batter to the greased baking dish and place it in the preheated oven. Allow the cornbread to bake for 45 minutes or until the top develops a golden-brown color and begins to show cracks.Once your cornbread is finished baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
