  • The first step in making a delicious carrot cake is to preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). This will ensure that your cake cooks evenly and rises properly.
  • Next, you'll need to grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan. This will help prevent the cake from sticking and make it easier to remove from the pan once it's baked.
  • In a large bowl, beat the sugar, oil, eggs, and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract together with an electric mixer until well combined.
