Ingredients
  

  • 125 g of softened butter
  • 200 g brown sugar
  • 100 g flour
  • 300 g ground almonds
  • 4 pic  whole eggs: yolks separated from the whites beaten until stiff

Instructions
 

  • Mix sugar and butter. Beat well after each addition of the egg yolks.
  • Add the flour and the ground almonds, stir well, and beat the mixture until a ribbon-like consistency forms.
  • Gently fold in the beaten egg whites.
  • Pour the mixture into a lined or buttered cake mould, cook for 45 minutes in a low oven. 6
  •  Leave to cool, unmold, this cake can be kept for 3 days, well wrapped.
